Hii, I’m Sarayu — pronounced Suh-raa-you, but I’ve heard it pronounced every other way. I’m 17 years old and currently in 12th grade,
I’ve recently found my way back to reading after a solid 5-year break. I was a big reader in elementary school, and my love for reading started when I picked up a book that nobody knew about called ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School.’ To this day I still love the series and actually own every single book- I just haven’t gotten a chance to read them yet 😅
What brought me back to reading, you ask? A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. I have a terrible habit of buying books and never reading them, but when I found out my friend had finished it (and I already owned it), I figured… why not? I picked it up, started reading, and instantly fell back in love with stories. I finished it and immediately ordered the second and third books on Amazon.
Now I’m here, rebuilding my reading habits. My reading goal this year is 52 books(ambitious for someone who read 2 last year). At the time of writing this, I’ve read 12 books so far- and we are just getting started

Okay, now that you know me, it’s time you get to know my blog!
This blog is my little corner of the internet—it’s a mix of my chaotic reviews and random thoughts about fictional characters who live in my mind rent-free.
The only genres I’ve read since getting back into reading are Mystery and Fantasy. I prefer reading young adult books, and my favorite fantasy YA books are the Percy Jackson series. The only mystery I’ve read is the Good Girls Guide to Murder trilogy.
You might also find a sprinkle of my journaling and me trying to improve.
So whether you’re here for reviews, the random thoughts in another person’s head, looking for your next favorite read, or just chilling, I’m glad you’re here.
I’ll see you in the next post, where I’ll probably be losing my mind about another fictional character 😭
